Over 13,000 square feet of one-of-a-kind shops and services, there is something for everyone at the Brownstone Mill.

Built in 1824 and purchased by Henry J. Wostbrock in 1898, originally was an old textile mill powered by a water wheel. The machines were hand driven to embroider cloth used for flannel petticoats.

Today, the Brownstone Mill is still owned by the Wostbrock family and is filled with unique and creative shops and services.  From furniture to jewelry,  vintage to antiques, workshops to services, home decor to gifts, and everything in between, the Brownstone Mill is a shopping and educational experience like no other.

At a time when shopping has become an online click and deliver to my door, the Brownstone Mill is still a place where people can browse and discover unique shops and boutiques.  For over 100 years, the Wostbrock family has supported independent shop owners and artists whose belief of shopping locally keeps the community connected and thriving.

"I have visited several of the shops at the Mill and found their selections eclectic and very interesting.  The purchases I have made at Mayfair Antiques and at StuFF are exceptional additions to my collections.  Both stores have friendly staff.  When you visit Mayfair, ask for Mitchell. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable."
